Dear Friends of Saint Paul:

Almost twelve years ago a new partnership was born, dedicated to leveraging public and private resources to revitalize the urban core of Minnesota’s Capital City. Since then, Saint Paul has experienced a remarkable renaissance. Saint Paul is now a city with both a distinguished past and a promising future.

Capital City Partnership has led the way and accelerated Saint Paul’s urban economic growth and revitalization through a strong, committed public/private partnership.

Today, downtown Saint Paul has not only transformed its bricks and mortar, but has also transformed the quality of life and spirit of its people. A new positive energy has emerged, infusing those who work, live, and play here. Saint Paul’s remarkable renaissance has created confi dence and certainty for future investment. Saint Paul is a gem on the river, alive with excitement and opportunity. This transformation is evidenced by its growing number of businesses in the city’s downtown urban core, a booming residential population, an expanding entertainment district, and world-class arts and cultural venues.

Capital City Partnership is proud to have helped form a new foundation for Saint Paul’s
extraordinary future as a great city, but our work is not done. Our commitment is stronger than ever before, and we will work to strengthen our existing partnerships, forge new partnerships, continue the positive momentum, and implement the shared vision for Saint Paul.

We will continue to organize and channel the energies and resources of the business and professional community to form effective public/private partnerships to plan, develop, promote, and market downtown Saint Paul.

The spirit of collaboration that formed Capital City Partnership continues. The unique public/private partnership continues to lead Saint Paul in realizing its potential as our state’s Capital City. Capital City Partnership will continue to help navigate new economic challenges, development opportunities, and a changing global environment.

We’d like to thank the Capital City Partnership Executive Committee and Board members for their support, guidance, and commitment in pursuing our mission. Downtown Saint Paul’s urban revitalization is an astounding success story, and we
believe that the best is yet to come. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments
over the past eleven years, and look forward to the tremendous opportunities before
us. Saint Paul is poised for a prosperous, exciting future, and Capital City Partnership
