Rice Park Winter Wonderland

Capital City Partnership, the City of St. Paul, and Xcel Energy invite you to experience Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy, downtown St. Paul’s premiere, winter holiday destination. The 2007/2008 season is November 24, 2007 through January 1, 2008.

Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy will capture the spirit of the holiday season with a tree as tall and bright as the iconic Rockefeller Center tree in New York City. The 78-foot tall tree in Rice Park will be lit 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The park will sparkle with millions of twinkling lights, classic Nutcracker and angel statues, and other holiday décor.

In addition to Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy, adjacent Wells Fargo WinterSkate – downtown St. Paul’s free, outdoor, artificially-chilled ice skating rink – creates a fun, winter experience for visitors of all ages. The 2007/2008 rink season runs from November 24, 2007 through February 3, 2008. Skate rental is just $2 per person. Receive free skate rental for you and your family by showing your Wells Fargo check card or credit card.

The perfect complement to any St. Paul visit – Minnesota Wild games, museum visits, or seeing Ordway Center for the Performing Arts’ Sound of Music – we invite you and your whole family to celebrate the season at Rice Park powered by Xcel Energy in downtown St. Paul!
