 2007 Mid-Year Vacancy Rates FavorableAs of February 1, 2007, the total universe of office space in the downtown Saint Paul Central Business District is 17,665,710 square feet (SF). The total universe basically stayed the same with a change of less than one half of a percent since August of 2006. Vacancy for the total universe of office space in the Saint Paul Central Business District as of February 1, 2007 is 13.4%, or 2,359,060 SF. This includes competitive office space, government space, and owner-occupied space. This vacancy rate is .4% higher than the overall vacancy reported in August of 2006 (13%, or 2,313,110). The February 2007 Market Update indicates that 45,950 more SF are vacant at this time than in August of 2006.
