State Fuels Growth
Key ingredients to the future economic
growth in St. Paul are the two new State
office buildings and lab building, totaling
900,000 sq. ft. that relocated 1,000
additional state employees to the Capital
City. The $250 million expansion,
completed in 2005, includes a new
building for the department of Human
Services; a lab for the Health and
Agriculture departments; and a new
State office building (all pictured below). These new buildings
fill important real estate further
linking the Capitol Campus to the downtown
Central Business District.
